- Usage, scope and purpose of data storage and processing
Personal data is gathered and stored for the purposes of maintaining contact with customers, marketing communication via e-mail, sales enhancement, customer profiling with the purpose of offering customized content to customers via email or on websites. We record displays of the email messages we sent and clicks on links within these email messages. For a better and more focused offering and adjustment of further messaging, the data recorded is automatically processed, analysed, profiled and customers’ interest in the sent messages is evaluated. We do not use automated decision making based on the data recorded and the profiles created.
For the purposes of sending e-mail messages we record:
- The customer’s email address.
Personal data is gathered with the explicit individual consent of customers. The consents are stored together with their content and content of the consent form.
Personal data is used by the following departments in our organisation:
– Sales,
– Marketing,
– Customer support.
- Transfer of data
The personal data gathered by us is stored on the territory of the Republic of Slovenia and will not be transferred to other countries.
- Storage period
An individual’s personal data is stored until the cancellation of consent for data storage and processing. After such cancellation, the individual’s data is immediately permanently deleted.
If our organisation should cease to have the above described purposes for which personal data is stored and processed, the data will be immediately permanently deleted.
Data about the displays and clicks on links in e-mails delivered is stored 12 months from the date the message was sent to the customer.
- Rights of natural persons
At any time data subjects have the right to:
– obtain information on the data gathered,
– perform a correction of the data,
– have the data completely deleted,
– transfer the data to another provider of similar services,
– withdraw their consent to personal data storage and processing, which shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
In the event our organisation should want to further process personal data for a purpose not stated when the consent was given, the individual will be provided information about this additional purpose and all other relevant information, as given in this document.
Should any individual be concerned that their personal data protection rights were violated by us, they can file a report at any time with the competent authority – The Information Commissioner for the Republic of Slovenia:
